Mr Olamide,

Thank you for reaching out to MyMotoTalk community.

From your explanation above this could either be a transmission or an engine performance related issue. When you don’t have the engine performance operating at it peak there is tendency that you experience this symptom of hesitation.

Would like to ask the question below for further clarification and to help narrow down to the affected system:

  1. Does the engine speed go faster than the vehicle speed – meaning that do you have the engine reving high and the vehicle is not moving?
  2. When you put your leg on the accelerator pedal to accelerate or rev the engine to get more power that is respond swiftly or hesitate ?

the engine idles well.what i observed is that if im not pressing trottle the car wont move  as automatic and when im moving in a gully road.i need more trottle power to get to car to move with pace.

if at idle.it responds swiftly but if im accelerating the pedal response is not in correlation with the speed required

If i am accelerating the pedal response is not in correlation with the speed required

===> Do you mean if you rev the engine the RPM or engine speed is more than the vehicle speed? If yes you should run a scan to see if there are electrical faults present.

Meanwhile you should check out for the level and the quality of transmission fluid and correct or replace as necessary
